Description
Create a "Contact Us" page where a user can send their questions or comments. Ideally it would be a form instead of a email link to make it easier to use.
The contact page should list:
- the primary contacts (email and possibly Wiki profile)
- a link to a directory ("who's who list" - see FLUID-708)
- explanation of other ways to contact us (mailing list, IRC, IM, etc) and link to the relevant "Get Involved" page
Thoughts:
- may need to set up a general inquiry address like "info at fluidproject.org"
- alternative would be that comments are posted to a central private location like a forum or mailing list where appropriate people can respond

2008-07-22T01:44:26.000-0400 There is a "Contact OSDPL" form in use now. We could either use that, adding this info to that page, or do away with it and create an entirely new page. We should probably discuss the pro's and con's of each option before moving forward.

2008-07-22T15:37:45.000-0400 Allison: This is a Wiki task, not an OSDPL task.
Task update:
Conversed with Colin. We think the way we should approach this is to create a publicly accessible mailing list where general inquiries are posted. Then relevant people will be subscribed to that list to monitor activity and be informed of each others responses.- email Nakul to set up a mailing list that does not require subscription
- warning: you will need to justify this and how we will control spam
- idea: do not publish the mailing list email address on the web. Instead, use an email form that submits to the mailing list. Use a captcha for security or a "security question" based on general Fluid knowledge to secure that email form.

Mailing list has been set up, but not yet configured for our use. That's a separate task.
