Description

If Dash is turned off after the connection dialog appear and the user tries to pair it, the UI looks like it is trying to connect to Dash indefinately.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Load the Coding Environment
  • Click Connect to Dash, but do not pair
  • Turn off Dash
  • Press pair to Dash

Expected: Try to connect to dash, but fails to connect

Actual: Status mark will spin forever

Available device list seems like updating when new devices are detected, but not able to detect when they are turned off before getting paired. I couldn't find a way to control the available devices modal from the browser; though, we could set timeout for attempt to connect to Dash.

The need to address this issue, together with C2LC-108, will go away if/when we switch over to using Wonder Workshop's JavaScript library to talk to Dash (C2LC-164). We will put this work on hold until we resolve C2LC-164.
